Great run, felt fresh the whole time. I don't need to look at my hrm so often, I've gotten better at PE.

Welcome to the blog! Health food chef sounds like a very interesting occupation. We definitely need more of them.

I don't know why, but I almost had to talk myself into going out for this run today. Today's pace is the fastest I've seen it with the the same heart rate. I think my body was trying to cheat me out of a great run such as todays. I did get 8 hours of sleep, maybe it's just one of those days, at least I got this run in the books.

Welcome to the blog. I have the same issues with talking myself into running sometimes. I found I do better if I run at lunch or in the afternoon as I never want to run early in the morning.

What was the pace?

Are you planning on running any races in the near future?

From Sasha Pachev on Tue, Sep 26, 2006 at 14:46:53

Running is work. If you want to succeed it is something you just do. You make a plan and then you execute it. More often than not you will not naturally want to do the workout you have planned.

But if you ignore the feeling and do it anyway regardless, it will separate you from the "fun" runners that run only when they feel like it. It will show in a race. You fill find yourself much further up the ranks than you thought your natural talent could take you.

This run just felt right. I was able to really tune into what my body was saying. I gave it more when I felt it was right, and I backed off when I felt I needed to. It was a very relaxed run.

Good work! Keep up those daily runs. You should start seeing improvements in a couple of months or so.

Are you still running? We would love for you to be active in the blog. I have found it to be so supportive and motivating. Happy running (and cooking!).

Decided today that I would take off because of a pain I started to get towards the end of yesterdays run. The pain is on my right knee cap. It doesn't hurt now, but I didn't feel like risking it. Besides, I'm not training for anything specific.

How was your training since then? Knee still bothering?

When an injury keeps you from running, try to cross-train in a way that does not aggravate the injury - elliptical, bike, swimming, etc.

Hey! I hope that knee thing didn't turn out to be serious. Are you still running? Hope you are doing well.
